Another part of the dash to go to the powder coaters, was the two dashboard air vents.

More gauges….now happy, got some new gauges done. Note that the fuel gauge now reads 57 liter instead of 43 liter. The SP311 Fairlady roadster had an option for larger fuel tanks for racing. My fuel tank is full of holes, so I might as well have a new one made a little bit bigger (following the measurements of one of the option tanks).
The temperature gauge now looks like the one shown in a old Silvia brochure and I feel it looks better than in Fahrenheit. Pictures in old dash and new fascia panel.

Heater fan unit aqua blasted. Ready for yellow zinc plating.

A little stubborn rust left on a few of the blades.

Taking the heater control unit apart. It has a switch unit fixed to it as well. Note rivets drilled out.
